MEDIA CAMPAIGN: FALL IS OUR FAVORITE SEASON

We conducted research for chocolate-filled marshmallow brand Stuffed Puffs and asked our online panel how they felt about the forthcoming fall. The feel-good responses really helped take the chill off the change in season.

Together with our polling partner OnePoll, we asked 2,000 Americans about their favorite fall activities, what they look forward to most about the season and how 2020 would be different to previous years.

More than half of respondents are happier during the fall, when compared to the other seasons. 33% said it was their favorite time of year. They even revealed a perfect fall temperature: 53 degrees Fahrenheit. And the first two weeks of October are the best time of the season.

And those favorite feel-good fall activities? Watching the leaves change color (51 percent), feeling the chill in the air (45 percent), and drinking hot chocolate (44 percent) were voted the top three.

Results

The research revealed a number of different findings, allowing for publications to pull a choice of headlines and key stats from our page-ready news copy. The survey story resulted in a wide spread of coverage across consumer publications, national and regional news, and featured on the 3rd Hour of Today show:

184 pieces of coverage across high-ranking sites, with an estimated 18.7 million coverage views and 18,000 social shares.
