We partnered with Slack on a study of 8,000 small business employees (split evenly between American and British adults). The research explored the topic of communication at work, paying particular attention to how email is used at work.

The campaign achieved over 300 pieces of online coverage across U.S. and U.K. news and consumer sites — 180 with links to the brand’s website, as well as regional broadcast coverage.

BOSS-EMPLOYEE RELATIONSHIP

A study on behalf of Motivosity explored the relationship between employers and their employees. The result? A headline grabbing stat that American office workers would rather have more feedback from their managers than more money. The survey story also revealed the qualities employees appreciated in their boss, including a list of the things they want more and less of from their employer.

THE RISE OF THE EMOJI

This campaign for Slack explored how workers were using email and emoji after one full year of lockdown. A study found 50% of American respondents had stopped sending as many emails since the start of the pandemic. 69% said using emoji had made them feel more connected to their co-workers. This research was conducted as part of a larger international study in the US, UK, France and German and secured over 200 pieces of coverage across US and international media.

REMOTE WORK UPDATE

Our OnePoll research on behalf of Wisetail Learning Management System found over a third of Americans currently working remotely would quit on the spot if they were asked to return to the office. The study asked employees who work from home and employees who work from an office to share their thoughts on a number of different issues. The survey story secured over 120 pieces of coverage for the software company.

We conducted a study for Go Daddy, polling 1,000 millennials, 1,000 Gen-Xers, and 1,000 Baby Boomers to explore how entrepreneurial they are. Millennials were found to be most likely to have some type of small business. Nearly one in three millennials said they have a small business or side hustle, with 19 percent saying it’s actually their main source of income.

We explored the digital storage habits of Americans, on behalf of Western Digital. Our poll of 2,000 Americans discovered 33 percent are holding onto files that are at least 10 years old. Despite not needing them in ages, Americans can’t seem to let go of their old files. Over half (52 percent) of those studied have never deleted anything from any of their devices.

We asked 2,000 employed Americans about their thoughts toward human resources departments and who they would go to if they had an issue in the workplace.

The study, on behalf of Bambee, found thirty-two percent of respondents without an HR department or representative said they don’t know who they would go to with questions or concerns — or wouldn’t go to anyone at all.
