RESTOREZ

MEDIA CAMPAIGN: SLEEP OPTIMIZATION

This project for RestoreZ was to help promote awareness of circadian rhythm disruptions and healthy sleep.

Campaign

We conducted a survey to explore the sleep routines of American adults and the impact of poor sleep on their everyday lives and daily productivity.

The results revealed just how exhausted many Americans feel. 65 percent said they rarely wake up feeling rested and energized. Forty-two percent of respondents said they start feeling tired as early as noon.

Daytime tiredness negatively affects 74 percent of respondents’ productivity and they’re left feeling out of focus and unmotivated. Nearly half of respondents also said a lack of sleep puts them in a bad mood, while three in 10 admitted to getting snippy and losing their patience.

Having a solid night-time routine is crucial for 83 percent of those surveyed to properly wind down the day – and over half watch TV as they start getting ready to head to bed. But, despite these routines, only 37 percent of respondents are dedicated to a consistent sleep schedule where they go to bed and wake up at the same times every day.
