MEDIA CAMPAIGN: TRAVEL BUDDIES

We worked with Exodus Travels on an earned media campaign, exploring the experiences that Americans have while on vacation. Our data-driven story achieved extensive coverage for the brand across high-ranking news sites and consumer publications.

 

Campaign

OnePoll conducted an online study on behalf of Exodus Travels, asking 2,000 Americans who have traveled internationally about the connections and relationships they have formed while on vacation.

The research revealed 23% of respondents had married someone they met while traveling, a third have had a “vacation romance” and a quarter currently have a best friend they met during a trip.

The rich datasets from the research formed the basis of a positive newsworthy story that aligned perfectly with the specialist travel brand. The page-ready news copy produced by our editorial team included key messaging from the client and links to their site, which were included in a number of published articles:

Results

Our media liaison team secured 170+ pieces of coverage for the sleep story. Over 12 million total estimated views and an average 66 domain authority (DA) across national and regional news, and travel sites. The story also achieved broadcast coverage on local Fox and CBS channels.
