MEDIA CAMPAIGN: STAYING HEALTHY AT HOME

We teamed up with Naked Nutrition to examine how the COVID-19 quarantine had impacted Americans’ fitness routines.

We conducted a OnePoll online survey of 2,000 Americans who routinely exercise and asked them how the lockdown had affected their lifestyle habits and attitudes to staying healthy.

The results of the Naked Nutrition study revealed 65 percent were taking time off from their fitness routine to “let themselves go a bit” and half had already given up on their summer body goals for 2020.

The average respondent thought they had gained five pounds since entering isolation, and that it would take eight weeks to look the way they did prior to isolation. Many respondents admitted to indulging while in isolation, with a third revealing they had increased their alcohol consumption.


Results

The story secured 251 pieces of coverage and 18 million coverage views. 27 pieces of coverage included links to the brand’s website, and the story generated over 6,700 social shares.

National, international and regional media picked up the story, resulting in top-tier news coverage including People, New York Post, Fox News, Miami Herald.
