LITTLE PASSPORTS

MEDIA CAMPAIGN: TRAVELING AS A CHILD

This project explored the positive impact that traveling has on children, and asked respondents about their own travel experiences, with some interesting results.

Campaign

Our data-driven media campaign for Little Passports, an educational gift subscription service, set out to discover to what extent traveling as a child influences people’s travel choices when they become adults.

More than half of those polled said expanding their horizons when they were young is what motivated them to travel as an adult. Seven in 10 said they were nostalgic about that time in their childhood, wishing they could experience learning about the world for the first time all over again.

Among the more surprising results, were the fact that roughly one in seven said they had never left the United States. Although 65% of respondents said they traveled domestically at least once each year before the pandemic, another 16% admitted to never leaving their home state.
